Highland Dancing has been a part of my life since the age of five. Growing up in Hamilton, I developed my art and became an award winning competitive dancer across Canada, the USA and Scotland. I have had the pleasure of sharing my love for Highland Dance, performing for audiences with two highland dance groups. Such performances include the Calgary Stampede, The Pleasanton Highland Games, the Hawaiian Scottish Festival, Rochester, Kingston and Hamilton Military Tattoos, also last but not least, the Edinburgh International Military Tattoo.
My true calling and passion is to teach the art of Highland Dance and I have been doing so over 25 years. I am an accredited teacher with the Scottish Dance Teachers Alliance and thrive on continuous learning by attending available conferences and workshops.
I have directed and choreographed for the Chisholm Dancers, based out of the Halton Region and perform with the Halton Regional Police Service Pipes & Drums. Currently, I am the Chairperson for S.D.T.A - Ontario and Competition Organizer.
